    BRANDON PTA’s INVEST IN YOUR ISLANDER CONTRIBUTION CAMPAIGN
    We are happy to announce that the PTA’s Invest In Your Islander Campaign has raised over $7,000 so far. However, in order to bring specialists, classroom grants, Cultural Arts assemblies and so much more to our children, the PTA needs to raise even more money. It is never too late to donate! The more we invest, the more our children profit!

    PTA MEMBERSHIP
    To date there are 106 Brandon PTA members!
    Have you joined yet? It’s not too late.
    Memberships are $6 per person and include the very useful Brandon Directory. Membership envelopes are available in the school office.

    HOLLISTER BREWING COMPANY and BRANDON SCHOOL FUNDRAISER
    Save the date – Tuesday, October 29th, 11:00 am to 10:00 pm
    Help support Brandon School in this PTA sponsored event by dining in OR getting “to-go” food at the Hollister Brewing Company on Tuesday, October 29th from 11:00 am. – 10:00 pm. Fliers were sent home in Friday Folders and are available in the school office. Bring the flyer with you and 20% of your bill (before tax and tip) will go to the Brandon PTA.

    FALL PARADE – October 31st at 10:45 am
    The Fall Parade is next Thursday, October 31st at 10:45 am. The Dos Pueblos Band will be leading the parade through the neighborhood.
    Students may wear costumes to school for the parade. After the parade, they will change into school clothes. Remember all costumes need to be school appropriate. Please see the flyer that went home in Friday Folders for costume guidelines.

    PTA REFLECTIONS PROGRAM
    Its time for the Reflections Art Program. This year’s theme is “Believe, Dream, Inspire.” Students can create a new, original piece of artwork inspired by the theme in one of six categories: dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography and visual arts.
    In the past Brandon Elementary has always had a contest winner! We hope to achieve that again. With parent and teacher participation we can Believe, Dream, and Inspire to do it again.

    There will be a gallery show and reception for all participants in November.
