BOX TOPS – DUE THIS THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 13th
Remember to bring your Box Tops to school this week. Box Tops will be collected from classrooms on Thursday, February 13th. For each Box Top collected, Brandon School receives 10 cents. Questions? Contact Mimi Dent at email@example.com.
PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR DAC MEETING – FEBRUARY 13th from 9:15-11:00 am
Parent volunteers are needed to attend a special meeting of the Goleta District Advisory Committee (DAC) on Thursday, February 13thfrom 9:15-11:00 am at the District Office. The Superintendent is looking for parent representatives from each school to share their opinions and feedback for ideas in writing a document called the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP), which reflects our community’s vision for our schools. Brandon needs to send at least 2-3 parents to this meeting in addition to our regular DAC Representative. VAL-O-GRAMS – ON SALE NOW
Val-o-grams are on sale now!!! Come and purchase a special card for a student and write a message.
Cards, along with a tattoo, will be delivered on Thursday, February 13th. Cost per Val-o-gram is $0.50. Val-o-grams can be purchased before and after school in the Brandon Bowl, if weather permits, if not, come to Room 16!

PTA BOOK DRIVE & GIVE AWAY TO CELEBRATE DR. SEUSS!
We are accepting donations of new and gently used children’s books for K-6th grades. We are in particular need of chapter books. Please bring donations to the PTA Book Donation box in the office by Friday, Feb. 21st.
Help will be needed with book set up, distribution and clean up in the MPR on Friday, February 28th. If you are interested, please contact Jennifer Adams at email@example.com.
Volunteers are needed for the 2014-2015 PTA. Please consider nominating yourself for a position. A flyer listing available positions was sent home in Friday Folders and should be returned to the office by Friday, February 28th.
